This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled for DrMedGuide (“we,” “our,” “platform”). By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms below.

1. Subscription Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected billing period (monthly, yearly, or otherwise shown at checkout).

     

  • All payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).

     

  • We do not store full credit card numbers or financial account information.

     

2. Automatic Renewal

  • All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle.

     

  • Renewal charges are billed to the payment method on file.

     

  • You may cancel anytime before renewal to avoid additional charges.

     

3. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by:

Once canceled:

  • Subscription remains active until the end of the billing period already paid for.

     

  • No additional renewal charges will be made.

     

  • You will not receive prorated credits or partial refunds for unused time.

     

4. Refunds

Refunds may be granted only in the following circumstances:

Duplicate charges
Billing error by the platform
Technical failure preventing access for an extended period
Subscription canceled correctly but renewal still processed

Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the transaction date.

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Change of mind

     

  • Dissatisfaction with content or output

     

  • Partial use of subscription

     

  • Failure to cancel before renewal

     

  • Entering PHI or violating Terms of Service

     

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

Users agree to contact [email protected] to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback.
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension

     

  • Loss of platform access

     

  • Permanent ban for fraudulent activity

     

6. Pricing Changes

We may modify pricing.
If pricing changes:

  • Users will be notified in advance

     

  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

     

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The platform is provided “as-is”

     

  • We are not liable for loss of data, downtime, or any damages resulting from subscription use

     

Maximum liability for any claim or dispute is strictly limited to $100 CAD, regardless of the number of claims or damages alleged.

8. Mandatory Binding Arbitration

All disputes, disagreements, or claims arising from billing, cancellations, subscriptions, or usage:

  • Must be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration

     

  • No lawsuits

     

  • No court actions

     

  • No jury trials

     

  • No class or collective actions

     

Arbitration will occur in Ontario, Canada, under Ontario law.

9. Governing Law

This policy is governed solely by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Users consent to jurisdiction in Ontario.
